Note: If you have the patch, you do not need the window.dll, the 'window' option should be available in your graphics config.

This is the window library. It works under D3D only. Copy window.dll into your 'blade/bin/raster' directory and when you start the game choose to configure and select 'window' from the renderer options. This will allow you to run Blade in a window on your desktop and give you access to the console (if you use the '-console' command line switch).
